I grew up without a father (but I had a revolving door of stepfathers) and learned about screening for men of honour much too late. I am now single and in my fifties and have only had a couple of long term relationships because I made awful decisions about men I allowed into my life. I wish I had a father like you who’d have educated me in the ways of men. Instead, I had my mother’s disastrous marriages–and her poor choices–as my role model. Your daughter is lucky to have you.
