I (unknowingly) dated a covert narcissist for 10 months, finally ending it with him in April of this year. During that time (December) my liver had a meltdown (I was really, really sick) and I was hospitalised for 10 days and on medication for another six months. My liver wasn’t repairing and I was really worried. The doctors did all the tests to try and find a cause, and everything came back negative. I broke up with my narc and within two months — TWO MONTHS!—my liver had repaired itself and I was off medication. If this isn’t a clear indication of the damage Cluster B personalities can do to a person, I don’t know what is. Note to self: I must write about this.
